Children in Need - Act your Age Challenge

1st Wickwar Rainbows have been fundraising for Children in Need and Girlguiding. The girls chose challenges based on the 'Act Your Age' theme. 

Dora Arathoon, aged 6, chose to cycle 6 km for 6 consecutive days on her exercise bike. She started the first ride after our usual meeting, wearing her Rainbow uniform and Pudsey face paint. For her final ride she completed a disco ride in the dark with music and a disco ball. She had a target of £100 but has managed to raise over £1000! 

As leaders we are absolutely blown away and would like to celebrate this achievement; it's incredible! We think she is a great advocate for Girlguiding and she always gets involved with activities and takes on the different challenges.

Her parents have said they are blown away too, not only by how much she has raised, but by her commitment and determination. They are so proud!
